Terms and Conditions

This is a summary of the important terms and conditions that apply when you use Click2Sure's website or any of our services or products. Detailed terms and conditions (which may be amended from time to time) relating to the insurance product purchased will be sent to you with your policy schedule.

By using our website you also agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy. To use our website you must be over the age of 18 years and be capable of entering into a binding contract with us.

Who are we? We are Click2Sure Intermediaries Proprietary Limited (registration number 2015/130344/07) and an authorised financial services provider (No. 46838). We are licenced to provide financial advisory services and financial intermediary services in respect of Cat A, B1, B2 and C (Long Term Insurance) and personal lines and commercial lines (Short Term Insurance).

Click2Sure markets, distributes and services insurance products that are made available by a number of insurance companies (each one, an "Insurer").

Your Click2Sure Journey

The application. We aim to distribute insurance products at the point of sale or via an email referral system through retailers. The retailer may make certain information available to us in relation to your purchase, including your personal information. This means we can populate certain fields in the insurance application forms, to make the sign-up process hassle free. You consent to the retailer sharing this information with us. Once Click2Sure receives your application, we will assess the information you have provided to us and inform you if your application is approved. All applications are ultimately subject to approval of the Insurer. We rely on the information you provide to us as being true, complete and accurate, and you must let us know straight away if any information changes or is incorrect.

Relationship documents. Your relationship with Click2Sure and the Insurer is governed by these terms and conditions, your application, and the policy schedule and policy document issued to you. The policy document will explain the cover you have under your policy. You should read your policy document carefully and let us know if you have any queries.

Payment. Many of the products distributed by us provide cover for a specified period in return for an upfront lump sum premium. Where a product requires a monthly premium, you agree to pay the premium monthly in advance on the specified date. You can make payments via credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or EFT. Credit card: We must obtain authorisation from the bank. If authorisation is not granted your policy will be cancelled. EFT: We must receive proof of your EFT within 7 days of your application being approved. Once we have received authorisation from the bank/verified your deposit, we will issue your policy documents.

Cover. If your application is accepted by Click2Sure (on behalf of the Insurer), you will be covered by your policy as soon as payment is received. Your policy will automatically be renewed each year, and unless you cancel your policy by writing to us, or sending us an email at: policies@click2sure.co.za. Once your policy has been cancelled, the cover will remain in place until the date when payment of the next premium would be due, and Click2Sure will not collect any more premiums from you. If you miss a premium payment, your policy will lapse.

Claims. Although Click2Sure facilitates the policy journey, including the collection of payments, your agreement to pay a premium in return for insurance cover is with the Insurer, and the Insurer is responsible to pay any claims you may make under your policy. If you make a claim under your policy, the information you submit regarding your insurance policy and the claim is subject to review and verification. Click2Sure reserves the right to request additional information on behalf of the Insurer to assist the Insurer to reach a decision on the claim.

Personal Information. We will take care to make sure that the personal information you share with us is safe and kept confidential. It may sometimes be necessary for us to share your personal information with a third party, if required by law or in the conduct of our business to provide you with the best service. If we need to share your information it will be done in a lawful way. By using our website and accepting these terms and conditions, you give Click2Sure your consent to share your personal information in this way. To make sure that we provide you with a service that is excellent and relevant, Click2Sure will process your personal information, and may sometimes contact you via telephone or email to notify you of administrative matters and to provide you with promotional material about your policy, updates about our website and services, and promotional offers. This may sometimes come through outside of business hours.  You can always opt-out of any of these emails by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link.

Intellectual Property. All right, title, and interest in and to the Click2Sure website and the services we provide including worldwide intellectual property rights therein, are and will remain the exclusive property of Click2Sure and its licensors (where applicable).

No financial advice. The information provided on our website is not insurance advice. Click2Sure is not liable for any inaccurate, missing or misconstrued information and makes no guarantee as to the quality and precision of the content. All financial decisions relating to the purchase of insurance products are yours to make. It is your responsibility to ensure that any Products, information available through the Website or the Click2Sure services meet your specific requirements.

Indemnity. You indemnify us against any and all losses, liabilities or costs incurred by us arising out of any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened against us by any person arising from (a) your use of the website or any service or product; (b) the use of the website or any service or product through your password; or (c) any breach of these terms and conditions by you.

Limitation of liability. Neither Click2Sure nor any of its directors, employees, agents or representatives shall be liable for any damage, loss or liability of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising from your use of the website or the services provided from and through this website (save in the event of fraud; any breach of statutory obligations; or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law).

How is Click2Sure different from traditional insurance brokers?


All amendments to these terms and conditions will be posted on-line. You may terminate this Agreement by written notice to us (by post or by email at hello@click2sure.co.za) if you do not wish to be bound by such new terms and conditions. However, continued use of the Click2Sure services or the Click2Sure website will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
