Perry is a fintech specialist with over 20 years’ experience in building and operating online businesses. He created and helped build businesses online in asset management, remittances, lending/credit, debt management, payments and mobile money (and was involved at all stages of growth), two of which were sold to public companies, and the third resulted in a successful Nasdaq IPO. With experience on both sides of the table, he is a valuable addition to the Click2Sure team – Perry has operational experience with Microsoft and Zulily, as well as experience both as a Venture Capitalist with Chase and Amadeus Capital Partners, and as a Management Consultant with Mckinsey & Co.
Daniel is the founder and guiding force behind Click2Sure. Daniel is a successful serial e-commerce entrepreneur who spotted an opportunity in the annexure insurance sector while building Groupon South Africa (a business he co-founded in 2010 and successfully exited in 2015).
Daniel has been instrumental in growing the e-commerce industry in South Africa and developed Groupon into one of Africa’s leading e-commerce companies. He has won numerous awards, including the U-start Africa top e-commerce website award 2011, 2012, and in 2015 as the person who has had the biggest impact on E-commerce in Africa. He holds an MBA from London Business School and has completed a variety of professional courses including, more recently, the Singularity University Executive Management program.
Nicola has more than 15 years of experience in advising in relation to corporate law, areas of legal compliance and M&A transactions. She has a special interest in the tech start-up space and has worked closely with several management teams in establishing best practice from the starting phase through to negotiating successful exits.
Jacques has more than 21 years of experience in the software industry – in positions ranging from developer, to architect to CTO and CEO – with particular experience in managing and conducting technical due diligences as part of the M&A process.
He has served as CTO of TAKEALOT.com and Mr Delivery, and prior to that was Chief Technical Officer for Naspers’ internet division and CEO of MIH SWAT (managing a team with offices in Cape Town, Sao Paolo and New Delhi). SWAT provided strategic technical support to the global Internet business in the form of M&A assistance, software development, maintenance of the employee network, research and consulting.
